About

About Me

My name is Franklin Ferrara and I am a certified high school science instructor for the past 23 years. I graduated from the College of New Jersey in 1995 with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. I was a member of the Tri-Beta Biological Honorary Society and in the college honors program. I earned my Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Science Education from Rutgers University in 2004.

I have taught biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, environmental science, and forensic science. I have tutored students in SAT math, algebra, geometry, algebra 2, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus. I have taught summer school sessions at Peddie for the past eight years.

I won the Merck Scholarship Awards in physics for two students in 2012. I have been involved with bridge-building and robotics throughout my educational career.

I look forward to working with you!

What Happy

Students &

Parents Say

Professor Ferrara is a proverbial "breath of fresh air." Prof. Ferrara has taken time out on more than one occasion for me (and three of my classmates) to fill the gaps in material in the hopes that we may have the same understanding as the rest of the class.
